1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Sensory Haven website, including any free

resources, downloads, masterclasses, educational materials and other content made available through it.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

The Sensory Haven is a trading name of:

Mojo Haus Properties Ltd trading as The Sensory Haven

Company number: 11811831

Registered in England and Wales

Registered office: 66 Florence Rd, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 6DJ

Throughout these Terms, “The Sensory Haven”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mojo Haus Properties Ltd trading

as The Sensory Haven.

2. About The Sensory Haven

The Sensory Haven provides sensory-focused interior design, education, information and practical guidance

intended to help parents, caregivers and families better understand how aspects of the home environment and

everyday routines may influence comfort, overwhelm, regulation, sleep, focus and wellbeing.

Our website may include information relating to sensory-focused design, home environments, routines,

wellbeing and neurodivergence, together with free and paid resources, events, masterclasses, programmes

and services.

The information we provide is intended to support greater understanding and informed decision-making. It is

not intended to provide medical or clinical treatment.

3. Educational Information — Not Medical or Therapeutic Advice

The information, guidance and resources provided through The Sensory Haven, including our website, lead

magnets, downloadable resources, masterclasses, programmes and social media content, are for

educational and informational purposes only.

The Sensory Haven does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, occupational therapy or other

healthcare services.

Our website, downloads, masterclasses, programmes, consultations and other materials are not intended to

diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical, developmental, psychological, sensory or other health

condition, and should not be regarded as a substitute for assessment, diagnosis, treatment or individual

advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare or other professional.

If you have concerns about your child's physical or mental health, development, sensory needs, sleep,

behaviour or wellbeing, you should seek appropriate professional advice.

You should never delay seeking medical or other professional advice because of information you have read,

watched or received from The Sensory Haven.

4. Every Child and Family Is Different

Every child, individual, family and home is different.

Sensory preferences and responses can vary significantly between individuals. Something that one child finds

calming or supportive may be neutral, uncomfortable or unsuitable for another.

Any examples, suggestions, strategies or recommendations we provide should therefore be considered in the

context of your individual child, family, circumstances and home.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to implement any suggestion or recommendation and

for seeking appropriate professional advice where required.

5. No Guarantee of Results

We want the information and services provided by The Sensory Haven to be useful and practical. However, we

cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome or result.

This includes, without limitation, any guarantee of:

  • fewer meltdowns or episodes of overwhelm;

  • improved emotional regulation;

  • improved sleep or settling;

  • improved concentration or focus;

  • changes in behaviour;

  • easier transitions or mealtimes;

  • improved family relationships or wellbeing; or

  • any other particular physical, emotional, behavioural or sensory outcome.

  • Results may vary considerably depending on factors outside our control, including the individual's needs and

circumstances, the home environment, other influences on the child or family, and whether, how and how

consistently suggestions or recommendations are implemented.

Testimonials, case studies and examples describe individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a

promise or guarantee that another person or family will experience the same results.

6. Your Responsibility When Making Changes at Home

Any decision to make changes to your home, routines, furniture, lighting, materials, products or environment

remains your responsibility.

You are responsible for considering whether a suggestion is appropriate and safe for your child and household,

taking into account factors including age, development, mobility, medical conditions, allergies, sensory needs

and any relevant professional recommendations.

Parents and caregivers remain responsible at all times for the safety and appropriate supervision of

children.

Where a recommendation involves furniture, equipment, electrical products, fixtures, materials, essential oils,

fragrances or other products, you should follow the manufacturer's safety instructions and seek appropriate

professional guidance where necessary.

Particular care should be taken with products or substances that may present risks to children, pets,

people with allergies or sensitivities, or individuals with particular medical conditions.

7. Free Resources, Lead Magnets and the C.A.L.M. Home Check™

From time to time, The Sensory Haven may provide free resources, including the C.A.L.M. Home Check™,

checklists, guides, worksheets, downloadable PDFs, videos, masterclasses and other educational materials

(“Free Resources”).

Our Free Resources are designed to help parents and caregivers notice, reflect on and better understand

aspects of their child's home environment, sensory experiences and everyday routines, and to identify small

changes they may wish to explore.

Free Resources are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not

diagnostic or clinical assessment tools and do not provide an individual diagnosis, sensory profile, treatment

plan or professional healthcare assessment.

Completing the C.A.L.M. Home Check™ or any other checklist or resource does not establish that a particular

environmental factor is the cause of a child's overwhelm, meltdowns, sleep difficulties, concentration

difficulties, behaviour or other challenges.

Every child is different. Any ideas or suggestions contained within our Free Resources should be considered in

light of your child's individual needs and circumstances. We cannot guarantee that implementing any

particular suggestion will produce a specific result.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to implement any suggestion and for seeking

appropriate medical, therapeutic or other professional advice where necessary.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Free Resources are provided for your personal, non-commercial use

only. They must not be copied, reproduced, sold, distributed, shared publicly, uploaded to other websites or

platforms, modified for commercial purposes, or used to create or deliver another product, service, course,

training or resource without our prior written permission.

8. Free Masterclasses, Webinars and Events

We may offer free live or recorded masterclasses, webinars, talks and other educational events.

Registration does not guarantee that an event will take place at a particular time or remain available

indefinitely. Occasionally, we may need to change the date, time, format or availability of an event for reasons

outside our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, registered participants will be informed of significant changes.

Any information provided during a masterclass, webinar or event is subject to the same educational and

professional limitations set out in these Terms.

9. Sensory-Focused Design and Consultation Services

The Sensory Haven may also offer sensory-focused interior design, home consultations, audits and related

services.

Information about these services on this website is provided for general information and does not itself create

a client relationship or contract.

Where you engage us for an individual paid consultation or design service, the specific scope, fees,

deliverables and applicable terms will be agreed separately.

Recommendations may be based on information provided by you, observations made during a consultation

and, where applicable, photographs, videos, plans or other information supplied to us.

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and sufficiently complete for the service being

provided.

Virtual consultations have inherent limitations because we may not be able to physically inspect the property,

environment, furniture, products or other relevant conditions.

10. Products, Materials and Third-Party Recommendations

From time to time, we may mention or recommend products, materials, furnishings, suppliers, professionals,

websites or other third-party resources that we believe may be useful.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these third parties are independent of The Sensory Haven.

A recommendation does not guarantee that a particular product, material or service will be suitable for you or

your child.

You are responsible for checking suitability, dimensions, specifications, safety information, ingredients/material

composition, installation requirements, warranties, availability and other relevant information before purchasing

or using a third-party product or service.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, services, availability, policies or content of

independent third parties, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

If we use affiliate links or receive a commission or other benefit from a recommendation, this will be disclosed

where required.

programme, course, coaching, consultancy, presentation, resource or other commercial product or service.

You may download or print resources where we expressly make them available for that purpose, for your own

personal, non-commercial use only. This does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property to you.

This provision does not restrict any use that applicable law expressly permits.

12. Website Content and Accuracy

We take reasonable care when preparing the information available through our website and resources.

However, sensory-focused design, wellbeing, research, professional guidance, products and best practices

may change over time.

We may therefore update, amend or remove website content without notice.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services.

We may also use third-party platforms and providers to deliver parts of our services, including email, video

conferencing, payment processing, messaging, website hosting and automation.

websites and platforms.

You should review the relevant third party's terms and privacy information where appropriate.

15. Email and Communications

Where you choose to download a free resource or lead magnet, register for an event, make an enquiry or

otherwise provide your details, we may send you communications necessary to deliver what you have

requested and communications connected with that request.

content, updates, invitations and marketing communications relating to The Sensory Haven.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.

Further information about how we collect and use personal information is contained in our Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies is contained in our Cookie Policy.

16. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep our website and digital resources reasonably available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted

or error-free access.

Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party service

failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the website or particular free resources where reasonably

necessary.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including

liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your

statutory consumer rights.

Where we provide services to consumers, we will provide those services with the level of reasonable care

and skill required by law.

Subject to those rights and obligations, we are not responsible for losses that:

  • were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the website or entered into a contract with us;

  • were not caused by a breach by us;

  • arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us;

  • arise from changes or actions you choose to make outside the scope of our recommendations; or

  • arise from independent third-party products, services or providers.

If you use our website or free resources for business or commercial purposes, we will not be liable for loss of

profits, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where liability cannot

lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

18. Paid Programmes and Digital Products

From time to time, The Sensory Haven may offer paid programmes, courses, workshops, memberships or

other digital products, including The C.A.L.M. Home Blueprint™.

These may be subject to separate Programme Terms or Terms of Purchase, which will be made available

before purchase.

Those terms may contain additional provisions relating to:

  • programme content and duration;

  • live sessions and recordings;

  • community access;

  • payment and payment plans;

  • cancellation rights;

  • digital-content access;

  • refunds;

  • participant conduct;

  • confidentiality;

  • intellectual property; and

  • suspension or termination of access.

Where specific Programme Terms apply, those terms will govern the purchase and participation in that

programme in addition to any relevant provisions of these Website Terms.

19. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Where you purchase services, digital content or other products from us, additional statutory rights may apply

depending on what you purchase and how the contract is entered into.

Any applicable cancellation rights and other important purchase information will be provided to you before you

required to reflect legal, regulatory or operational developments.

The latest version will be published on our website with the date on which it was last updated.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that you have already acquired under a contract with us.

22. Complaints and Contacting Us

We want you to have a positive experience with The Sensory Haven.

If you have a question, concern or complaint about our website, content or services, please contact us in the

first instance at:

[email protected]

We will aim to respond within a reasonable period and to resolve concerns fairly.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory

consumer protections applicable where you live.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising any right to bring proceedings in a

court available to them under applicable law.

24. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to

apply.

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we have waived that right.

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship or agency relationship between you

and The Sensory Haven.
